Early-access terms

A place to rehearse. Know its limits.

ChairFly.ai is an educational rehearsal demo for use on the ground, outside aircraft operations. These terms describe what this early version offers and how to use it appropriately.

Last updated September 24, 2026

Educational use only

ChairFly.ai does not provide flight instruction from an authorized instructor, instructor endorsements, or authorization to operate an aircraft. It is not an FAA-approved flight simulator or aviation training device. Time spent in the app does not count toward required flight or simulator experience.

Do not use ChairFly.ai while operating an aircraft or to manage an actual abnormal or emergency situation. Practice scores do not establish proficiency, currency, or readiness for a checkride.

Verify before you rehearse

The current product contains fictional departure briefings, IFR readbacks, go-around decisions, introductory instrument concept lessons, a guided panel orientation rehearsal, optional hand-pointer input, and custom mapped-position practice. It does not provide aircraft operating procedures or an instrument proficiency check. These exercises have not yet completed independent instructor review. Content and automated feedback may be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for your aircraft and its equipment.

Establish the correct procedure with your qualified instructor and the current applicable aircraft flight manual or pilot’s operating handbook and checklists. If something conflicts, stop that exercise and resolve the discrepancy with your instructor.

Feedback has limits

Camera tracking estimates visible hand positions to select on-screen targets. Oral explanations are self-checked, not recorded or automatically graded. Lighting, camera angle, movement, and occlusion can affect it. A detected gesture does not verify correct operation of an aircraft control or prove that you understand a procedure.

Treat session summaries as a record of a practice activity, not an instructor’s assessment or a safety determination. Shared debriefs are student-reported, editable data without an authenticated sender. Creating an assignment or receiving a debrief in the instructor desk does not certify the content, student identity, or performance.

Costs and outcomes

The current demo is free and does not collect payments. Any proposed future plans or prices are informational until an actual offer and checkout are available.

Cost comparisons are illustrations based on the displayed rates and assumptions. They are not measured ChairFly.ai savings or a guarantee of fewer training hours, lower bills, or checkride success. School billing rules and required training still apply.

A developing product

Features and exercises may change or become unavailable while the product develops. Your locally saved progress is a convenience, not an official training record. Browser settings or clearing site data can remove it.

Use the demo for its intended educational purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or access systems or data without authorization.
